The Jeep Wrangler 4xe delivers world-class off-road capabilities with the power of a traditional gas engine paired with electric motors and a battery pack robust enough to allow you to drive up to 22 miles completely gas free. The plug-in hybrid version of the Jeep Wrangler works through the combination of electric motors powered by a 400-volt battery pack and a 2.0-liter turbocharged gas engine. The combined system produces 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. You can recharge the battery by plugging in at home or a public charging station along Highway 74. If you don't recharge the battery, the engine will run like a traditional hybrid using regenerative braking technology, but if you want full electric range back, plugging in will allow you to continue driving gas free.
